A drone survey will take aerial photographs of the lagoon site. The survey, which is planned to take place during April, will present an opportunity to see the site in more detail, particularly now much of the vegetation around the lagoon has been cleared.
The team of specialists working at the site have already dug trial pits and a small number of boreholes as part of the further site investigation work. Analysis of material extracted from these areas will help to inform the site remediation strategy.
