Tree specialists visited the Hoole Bank site to identify tree species and condition to the north of the main lagoon.
A habitat survey identified semi-natural broad-leaved woodland, including a range of young trees, seedlings and saplings. The canopy was dominated by silver birch, common ash and sycamore.
